“today we had our interclass vball competition.. for the gals, dat is. the guys played soccer... and yeah. we lost. to 2H and 2E. we probably underestimated 2E already.. and against 2H, regardless of which team is stronger, 2G vballers no doubt gave it their best shot. then again, i didnt blog this time to analyse the competition. no. in a way, we are all winners. 2G class, the subsitutes or reserves, or the main team players. all most importantly, we enjoyed the game really well. it's not abt the competition, it's abt the team spirit, esprit de corps, abt fun...abt enjoying each others' company. each time the ball is passed from one player to another, it just seems a link of friendship and connection is bridged. so, you get, a bounce, link, bounce, link, bounce, and over the net. it applies the same way for soccer. and of course, on top of that, the words of encouragement we give each other. it's just a word or two really. which makes the difference. which basically, on a larger scale, move the people and change the world. we were there for each other. okay, no doubt under the tensed atmosphere (hey, we practice for at least, in all 6hrs each player for this competition;of course, we have some expectations), we might, sometimes, miss the ball or u know, communication might sort of like break down. but no matter what, we never gave up on anyone. we trusted all our players, and supported them all the way. when they made a mistake, we don't have anyone boo-ing them. we have ppl, playing in the court, standing beside the court-lines (our dear supporters) saying things like" it's okay", "you can do it", "relax (or -lax)", "jia you", "go, come on ppl". and when they SCORE, man, dont we just cheer our lungs out. it's a shared victory, a shared moment of pure glory, just as much as if we didnt score, it was a shared disapppointment, a shared moment of justified anguish. it was all shared. the exhaustion. the happiness. the anxiety. the pride. so, u see. did we lose?on the surface, it is no doubt, that we didnt got onto the next round, but deep down, did we really REALLY lose?... yes, and no. heck no. we won something, something greater than just winning, something more spectacular and implausibly impossible than beating our opponents, something we which make our hearts swell with pride just knowing that we did it. and most importantly, we did it together. Honestly, if losing won us something more worth than winning, well, i say we won. i say 2G won.”

well ... the lvl camp is over. it ended 11 may. like ... this is alr 16 may. i thot some of you would come tag or post or whatever ... but apparently ... oh wells. can't force ya ... just thought that you guys would care more since this is your blog too.
well i learnt a lot of things during the camp. like how people can be really helpful and that you can't judge a person just by a bad encounter or sth. bcoz they can turn out totally different. esp people like arlong. yeah i know, at first i dint like him much. but i realised that hey, he's kinda cool, not bad really. its like ... everyone you're looking at are in different perpectives and you can really gain a lot from lvl camps like this yeah ...
and some of us complained a lot abt the camp and how muddy everything was ... yeah i know that we prefer our air con rooms anytime [me too, but when it was night id rather i slept out] but it taught us valuable lessons. it exposed us to many different aspects of life and helped us gain a lot of experience. so it kinda irked me to hear so many complaints abt how lousy the camp was and such ... but it really is kinda NOMB. haha ...
yeahh ... just thought i'd run by the blog and update it, keep it from going stagnant totally, you know?

erm. from tanjong pagar went to youth park down there seh. 2 min peformance. lalala. we did hokey pokey!! but had quite a hard time finding audience seh. lucky 2i came along! to help us lalala. then we help them b their audience, then time to chiong ah! lalala. started running lol! liddis 2.4 no prob le lols.

yay!! we have entered 2006! that means we have spent 1 entire year in Golien!! woo hoo!! we made it! haha. wenbo has left us this year.. haiz. so sad. we wish her all the best in canada! and now, we have 2 more newcomers!! sorry for the bloody irritating part of me for semester two. i'm glad that our friendship was still strong enough though. to pull through. i'm sorry for all the misunderstandings and sadness and loathing that i've caused. i really hope next year wil be an even more fufilling year for our friendship.

2. puimun, sieweng, yuesing, dawn, chingying, enning, yihsin, huibin.
thank you for listening to me when i was down and comforting me. its really great to know that one golien has such good friends around. its comforting to know that we can have a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold when we are sad, moody, depressed. you guys are great.
